I love writing, talking and infotaining an audience. I always have and always will.
I registered for a Professional Bachelor’s degree (Economics, English, Religion) in Teacher Training at University College Leuven-Limburg (formerly Groep T-Unesco). A dozen internships in every type of secondary school education helped me learn a great deal about finding out whom my audience is and how to interact with it and its specific characteristics. I graduated cum laude.
Wanting to broaden my horizon even more by finding bigger and more diverse audiences to reach, while also analyzing them on a scientific level, I enrolled for a Master of Science in Media Communications at KU Leuven, one of Europe’s leading universities.
I passed my (second) Bachelor's degree and Master's degree cum laude and gained a lot of academic knowledge and insights in courses like History of Film, Media Sociology, Journalism, Radio and Audiovisual Communication.
My Master’s Thesis, which earned me a Highest Distinction grade, focused on film criticism in church magazines in the fifties, sixties and seventies.
